NEW ALBERTA FEATURE: “FOAM OR BUST”

Welcome to a video packed full of useful information which you can apply to any freestone river you fish during a hopper year. To set the stage for this one, we’ve gone through months of a pro-longed dry summer, the hoppers are out and it’s late August. Having come through heavy smoky skies for much of this summer we’re taking advantage of clear skies to practice as much sight-fishing as we can while also prospecting our hoppers through the most likely, but limited holding water.

Special note to location hot-spotters: this video was filmed 3 seasons ago before the prolonged heat & drought and the conditions/fish in this river have certainly shifted since.
