NEW EXTENDED SPECIAL FEATURE: “NEW ZEALAND, ISLAND PING-PONG”

A long time coming, a Herculean production to sort and edit, this full feature is timed to the grips of winter to offer an immersive visual escape.

This… is fly fishing New Zealand through a choice to take it on, give it a good go and see what comes. 4 days pushed by severe weather leads to an absolute visual treat. Much of the timelapse and night-lapse works we’ve included in this production begs to to be seen on a large screen TV with minimal lighting to give you the best viewing.

We’re pushed to fish water influenced by springs to find active fish in clear water. On the fly-fishing front we start by taking you on an adventure of a “scramble through the brambles” while intercepting a few browns, then we open to a spring that flows through farmland that’s heavily weeded and end with working browns in a spring that’s still slightly tannic in color.

This is just an immersion into our lives while bumbling about New Zealand with our best try & take it on to find a few nice trout in rough conditions, capturing the beauty of the weather and topography. We don’t want this one to get too deep in the how-to as it’s well covered in the video but share these:
